Amongst a group of leaders dedicated towards environmental sustainability, Go Greenish officers had the opportunity to embark on the Green California Summit. The conference took place on September 15-16 and the team made over 85 contacts within the state. Leadership was able to present Go Greenish's mission and the expansive Road to Zero Waste program over three various presentations.
The summit was focused on celebrating 20 years of facilitating the implementation of green and sustainable solutions efficiently and effectively to help achieve California’s sustainability goals. GG representatives attend various sessions and presentations to expand their own knowledge of sustainability.
Avani Goyal, Keilani Hansen-Toohey, Brooke Bossinger, Daniel Suen, and Jayden Zou represented the team. Fostering connectivity, the summit held various workshops and keynote speakers to advance greener agendas in California, celebrating previous success. The team is taking they learned at the summit and bringing it back to the goals and initiatives of Go Greenish.
