Greenish Schools Initiative

GSI encompasses our policy initiatives that fight for the opening of a school district standing climate committee and the formulation of a Climate Action Plan with student input. Partners gain access to 80+ pages of resources to guide them in their process of making change in their district. 

Go Greenish Partner Network

Currently representing over 383,000 students in 546 schools, our partner network is constantly growing and bringing climate action to schools nationwide. With help from our 12 partners, we have raised over $16,700, introduced 5 electrification commitments and even funded a community garden. Policy

Partners can lead climate initiatives in their district under our Greenish Schools Initiative Roadmap.

School Garden

Partners can create a community garden in your school site with funding from Go Greenish.

Composting

Partners can work with their school administration to implement organics recycling measures on their campus using Go Greenish resources.

Volunteering

Partners gain access to Go Greenish events where they can gain volunteer hours and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).
