By continuing to build relationships with like-minded organizations, Go Greenish has recently formed official partnerships with the Samuel Lawrence Foundation.
Go Greenish has collaborated with The Samuel Lawrence Foundation, which is environmental organization emphasizing reducing waste, not only in the environment but also in the San Onofre nuclear plant, as now that it has been decommissioned, there is large amounts of nuclear waste that just now sit in the plant, which can take centuries before they break down. Specifically, they are dedicated to protecting Calfironia’s coastline and surrounding communities from the longer term risks posted by spent nuclear fuel stored at decommissioned San Onofre Station.
With their specific research, public education, policy advocacy and collaboration with policymakers, they work to combat this nuclear waste shortage.
The foundation drives this change through holding community events, some in which environmental professionals speak at, in order to empower communities to advocate for a cleaner and brighter future.
The foundation is leading 12 programs in science, arts, education, and community. They held 7 Events in 2025 with the union of 22+ partners.
Go Greenish is excited to partner with these organizations and are looking forward to collaborating with them.
